Hand-Craft and Raise a frame in this one-week hands-on working class with 10-20 other students. Days are spent on-site, designing, cutting and fitting a complete post and beam frame. Learn to select, use and care for your own timber framing tools. In five short days you will turn fresh lumber into a carefully crafted houseframe and leave knowing how to design and build your own.

The experience will change your life. It is an opportunity to discover the joy of creating something real mixed with the repetition of measuring, marking sharpening and cutting. The final day we raise the newly fabricated frame and that is a stunning moment.

At the close of class our crew takes the frame down and reconstructs on the waiting clients foundation. During the one-week class we will visit a few finished houses that allow the students to see what the end product can look and feel like. Join us for the experience of a lifetime!
